If you are found guilty, several factors will contribute to the possible penalties you will receive as well as the severity of fines imposed. The Law Offices of Jonathan F. Arrested for DUI in Atlantic City New Jersey

In order to be placed under arrest for DUI in the State of New Jersey, an investigating officer must have probable cause to believe you are in fact operating a motor vehicle under the influence. This is almost exclusively determined by your performance on what is known as the Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s) administered upon you. What exact tests; The “Walk and Turn” and “One Leg Stand,” are administered and the officer’s interpretation of your performance on them is determined by guidelines set by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall have two of perhaps fifty attorneys in the entire state who are certified as instructors of the SFST’s as they are taught to and utilized by law enforcement. In addition, if you provided a sample of your breath as a result of being placed under arrest, a review of your BAC or Blood Alcohol Content reading is extremely crucial to the possible resolution of your matter. With former Municipal Prosecutors in over 25 towns in New Jersey, we can provide you with any and all possible defenses to the admission of the BAC reading obtained by the Alcotest 7110; used in all DWI prosecutions throughout New Jersey.
