Oaklyn NJ Criminal Lawyers
mmvIt is much easier to find yourself charged with a criminal offense or serious traffic violation in the Camden County municipality of Oaklyn than you might expect given its only measuring .69 square miles. A significant number of individuals like you are arrested and/or issued a summons in the Oaklyn Borough every year. The presence of U.S. Route 30 (a.k.a. South White Horse Pike) and the town’s proximity to the City of Camden are certainly major factors in the high totals. As crazy as it might sound, members of the Oaklyn Police Department write over 3,000 moving motor vehicle offenses almost every year. The number of criminal charges is also disproportionate with 179 first, second, third and fourth-degree crimes and 628 disorderly persons offenses issued for the one-year period ending May 2016. These are staggering statistics given that Oaklyn is less than one square mile and has a population of about 4.038 residents (2010 Census). These figures should serve as evidence enough of the aggressiveness of law enforcement in Oaklyn and so too your need for representation by a knowledgeable criminal attorney if you want to avoid unnecessary penalties.
