More About Deal Borough
The Borough of Deal is a thriving Monmouth County municipality and it comprises one to two square miles and is situated directly on the Atlantic Coast. Presently bordered by Long Branch, Ocean Township and Allenhurst. Deal was originally much larger and included all of the area between Deal Lake and Takenesse Lake. Deal remained a farming and fishing settlement until the latter part of the 19th century. The original family’s passed down their lands, from generation to generation. Even today, there are descendents of a number of the original pioneers of Deal, living around the area. By the early 1890’s the community’s of Long Branch and Asbury Park were flourishing. A number of developers purchased the area now known as Deal and quickly laid out a residential community with very little commercial space. During the past 100 years, Deal has withstood steady growth. The town is completely developed and most comes alive during the summer months, when the Deal Casino and Conover Pavilion become the center of town.

Take the Garden State Parkway South to the Route 36 East exit 105 toward Route 35/Eatontown/Long Branch. Take 36 East to Route 35 South. Turn left onto Deal Rd. Turn right onto Monmouth Road/CR-15. Turn left onto Roseld Ave. The municipal courthouse is on the corner of Roseld and Norwood Aves.
From the South:
Take the Garden State Parkway North to 138 East via Exit 98 toward Belmar/Wall/Spring Lake. Merge onto 18 North toward Eatontown. Take the Deal road east exit 11A. Turn right onto Deal road. Turn right onto Monmouth road/CR-15. Turn left on Roseld Ave. The municipal courthouse is on the corner of Roseld and Norwood Aves.
