About East Brunswick DWI Charges
The township of East Brunswick lies on the southern shores of the Raritan River in Middlesex County. Born out of the Monroe and North Brunswick townships on February 28, 1860, East Brunswick grew from a rural farming community to become New Jersey’s center of population according to the 2000 Census. The township is located off Exit 9 of the New Jersey Turnpike, where a citizens group in the 1970s prevailed in a case against the Turnpike Authority in one of the earliest legal confrontations in U.S. history over environmental factors in urban highway design.
