The borough of Island Heights is a tiny community situated on just over one-half square mile of dry land. Island Heights is a relatively close-knit community with a population density of nearly 3,000 people per square mile. For such a small town, the 25 or so drunk driving cases that go through the local courthouse annually may corroborate a high percentage of visitors getting arrested for DWI by local police.
If you’ve received a summons for driving under the influence of alcohol or refusing a breath test in Island Heights, our Toms River Office is just down the road from this little borough. Every one of the attorneys at The Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall has dual certification in the breath test machine – the Alcotest – as well as standardized field sobriety testing. Few New Jersey attorneys can claim to have certifications in both Alcotest (perhaps 50 total lawyers have this) and standardized field sobriety testing (less than 50 possess); we have three. If you need help with an Island Heights DWI or refusal case, please contact us at 855-450-8310 for a free initial consultation.
